This product supports asynchronous communications with our original communications controller. The terminating resistors can be selected by the DIP switch setting. Seven base clock frequencies and the independent bit rate generators allow you to choose freely appropriate transfer rates for your specific requirements. The maximum transfer rate is 2 Mbps. The communications controller provides one 1024-byte transmit FIFO and one 1024-byte receive FIFO per channel and achieves precise data exchange easily.
